Subject: Side curtain, tire question and thanks...
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hello all, I recently purchased a 93 EV MV and the PO was a smoker. I would like to know if I can wash the side curtains in my washing machine, as I can't find any mention in the owner's manual.

Also, I can't find any info in the manual on the bench seat / bed in the back. Is there a special MV "insert" that I am missing?

Again, I would like to thank everyone for their opinions on the EV; I think I would have bought it regardless, but the responses I recieved were great, and just make me feel better about the purchase. My wife is really stoked and is contemplating camping once again (as long as there are showers and toilets ;^) ).

I am also wondering on replacement tire size. I found Dunlop SP4000 on sale for $51 each from tire rack; I'm also able to mount and balance them myself as our lab. The EV currently has the original GoodYear tires (N 64, made in G.B.)-they suck in the rain and I don't want my wife to find out how bad they may be in the snow after it's too late. I'm planning on replacing the 195/70/15s with 205/65/HR15s. Has anybody switched to this size?

TIA, -- Scot Douglas Powertrain Performance Engineer, Mitsubishi Motors R&D of America Ann Arbor, Michigan
