FWIW, you can make the VWOA Bus rack fit a Vanagon.  just bend the legs out a
bit.
(VWOA racks are identifiable by the little plactic caps at the ends of the 2
main horizontal tubes, and the permanent threaded hook eyes that are attached
to the tubes, which are part of the clamps.)
