Subject: EV Transmission fluid change

Changed the transmission fluid in my '93 EV MV w/97,000 miles last weekend. I put in Mobil 1 synthetic 75-90W. Thanks Rick Gordon for the schematics. The original fluid was a dirty brown, didn't see any metal particles or anything. Previous to the fluid change it was hard to put into first and usually "crunched" a little going into second. No more after the fluid change. I recommend it to anyone with high miles and "reluctant" gears. Rod in west Texas '56 Beetle '78 Bettle vert '91 Jetta Carat '93 EV MV
