Well everyone as fate has it I've found away around vw once again...as many of us have. U-Joints for Germany that I really cant remeber his name but he makes most of the u-joints in germany. So with a lucky guess from CT driveshaft I have new u-joints.....

Part Neapco (an american company) (power train components) 1-0321 the grese fitting do not work on the syncros driveshaft but with a handy dandy 8mm fine thread bolt your in business=)...........

now one prob with mine was I needed to get the driveshaft balanced because I totally froze up both u-joints.......all together it costed me 84 for the balanceing and each u-joint was 16.88 a piece=) hell of a bargin from 1000.

Now one prob is my driveshaft is fine and all and the ujoints fit great but I have this annoying shakeing problem......maybe I screwed up my vicous coupling when I blew the u-joints I drove all of South Dakota and Nebraska without fixing them because I didnt know what was wrong with the van and no vw's places out there. Also now the vibration only happens when the driveshaft is in place so im wondering if the vicouse coupling turns all the time or only when the driveshaft is in place...any help would be nice...............

oh and on a funny note the u-joints are comparatable, according to ct driveshaft, to a farm tractors u-joints......

thanx again and good luck=) tim g 87 gl syncro
