My car has taken several minor dents all over, so I am wondering whether to
take the opportunity for a respray for not much more cash, so...

What are the pros and cons of respraying?
What different levels of respray are there?
Will it repair and limit rust?
Can you change from a darker to a lighter colour?
What about metallic paint?
Should it be done by a VW specialist or a body repair specialist?
How much labour time should one allow?
