The Syncro Filter actually has more surface area so that it can hold more dirt without clogging. Unless you live in a very dusty area, that filter should last many thousands of miles. Especially since the Syncro has that cyclone separator before the filter and the air inlet is up high to avoid the road dirt. I first replaced my filter at about 70K. A few people on the list have these for a reasonable price. Try the Bus Depot. I'm sure Ron can help.
