try junk yards....www.vanagon.com has an excellent listing of these and parts suppliers such as Volks motors and bus depot and others who can probably do much better on price than a dealer ... if you don't hear from someone on the list, that is....

as far as the body work, it depends on what you're willing to spend in money or time and what results you want....but it can get expensive if you do not want to do it yourself....my guess having not even seen the damage is that you can expect a body shop to charge at least $500 and probably up to $1200 or even more depending on how bad it is. it pays to shop around with body shops like all else...
