Subject: Oil press. warning buzzer
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Greetings,

The oil pressure warning buzzer/lamp in my westie comes keeps activating even though the dip stick indicates the proper level of oil in the engine. The problem used to happen only once every few months but now it's almost a daily occurence; usually when I start the van in the morning. It keeps buzzing and blinking for a couple of minutes then stops. When this happens the gauge indicates 0 pressure but as soon as the buzzing/blinking stop, the gauge goes back to normal. I'm tempted to disconnect the buzzer as it is so annoying. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance, Marty
