Went for an alarm installation last week but they didn't do it because they said they could not find a place to put the siren. They called Volks Dealer ( Clarkdale in Vancouver) but they had no idea either. Do you know if an alarm can be installed in the 1991 Westfalia (Vanagon style)... The dealer is now trying to find an answer to that question but haven't found any yet. By the way, I forgot about the Air.cond.Your answers were unanimous: expensive, demanding on engine and compressor requires too much maintenance...Merci...Ciao
