I would think if you do not have a second battery you could mount it in that compartment. I know the one in my westy is clean, easy to get to and has plenty of room for a CD-changer. I'm tring to decide if I'm adding a battery or putting a cd-changer in there right now. How much advantage do you get with the second battery in a westy? I know its only good for 3 hours of refridge use but what else will it do for you?
