Hey Folks
        When I was getting ready for my first trip in my new van I filled the water
tank up and tried the pump.  No water.  Well, this is a problem so I took
the pump out and thought about trying to fix it.  I had read on the list
that these things were very expensive for what they are so I took it apart.
The problem is that they are not designed to come apart so I pried the
bottom off with a screw driver and the glued joint broke clean and fell into
my hands.  Spinning the impeller resulted in a fair amount of friction so I
pulled it off (it just slides off) and applied some Tri-Flow to the shaft.
I put enough in the pump to form a puddle around the shaft and let it sit
that way for 24 hours.  When I put power to it the motor turned so I put
some thicker lubricant on the shaft, spun it a few more times and then
cleaned it out.  Next I SuperGlue the bottom back on, reinstalled it, and it
has been working for the last week and a half.  Who knows how long it will
last for but it is so easy to get to that replacing it later should not be a
hassle.  FYI
