Subject: propex heaters (group buy?)
Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII

(Sorry if this goes through twice, I didn't see it the first time)

For those who are interested in another group buy of propex heaters, I just got a fax from propex. Heres the information:

Cost of unit(1): 350 pounds (=approx $570)+delivery Cost of 10 or more units: 280 pounds (=approx $450) (the fax I just recieved did not say specifically that this included the shipping to the U.S. but I believe that it does.)

Problems: delivery: all the units ordered will be shipped to a single airport and will need to be shipped out by me to individuals (adding an additional cost to you)

Money: Propex will take individual credit card numbers or I guess you can give me your number when we are ready to order, and i'll pass that on to them when I give them my number. I would also need some $$ for the postage from Salt lake to you. (any suggestion on cheapest method (and small time constraint one me) would be good). (Credit cards seems to be the best way to go, then you dont worry about me burning you and I dont get burnt either, as well as ease of exchange rates)

Installation: there seems to be some people who are worried about installation, which may be a concern, but I imagine that an RV shop would be happy to put the units in if you couldn't figure out how to do it. (BTW: propex will fit the heaters with 1/4" inlets so no adaptor is necessary.)

I think we should have 10 people to do this, maybe more. Right now it sounds like there are at least 6 or 8 of us ready to go. I would like to do this A.S.A.P. So why don't we plan on wednesday or thursday of this week?

If you want to contact propex heres their info: tel: 011-44-1703-528555 fax: 011-44-1703-528800 (they seem to like faxes)

If you have any questions email me back or phone me if you want (and i'm around) at (801)581-4027. I probably cannot answer technichal questions about the heater or the installation process, but feel free to contact me.
