Get a small piece of ridgid rubber tubing (The little white seal tubes that seal the oil cooler to the case on a type one engine is perfect). Holding a plug wire in the middle of a zip tie and bend it around the wire in a "U" shape so that the two ends are even with each other. Slide the rubber tube over the two ends of the zip tie until it goes tight against the wire. Take the second wire and just put it between the two zip tie ends and put the zip tie together. It holds the wire apart the same distance as the length of the tube. You can stand off oil lines, brake lines or any other line from sheet metal or framework with the same method. -- Todd Francis Ridgefield, Washington USA '86 Westy Syncro '91 Tristar
