Subject: Stroke of Good Luck!

Ya wouldnt believe it guys, the previous owner's spotted me! We both had a few minutes to chat so we pulled into a parking lot. Well, interesting news about my recently acquired Carat.... :-} new rebuilt heads(installed by the owner who IS a mechanic) new rear main seal(ditto ) new rear brakes, inc. drums. They religiously maintaned it within the 1 1/2 yrs they had it. I forgot the part but some clutch thingy is new too. New window regulator on my side. They traveled in it quite a bit, its been up north up the grapevine a few times. And the cruise control is just disconnected, not broke as I thought. He also showed me a little rust spot he had a problem with, Im glad he did so I can watch it & fix it when it's real bad.

They said they didnt like the dealer when they dealt with them, so they were happy to hear the dealer screwed themselves(they aint makin a buck off me!)

I was bummed to hear there WAS a Bently under the back seat but it was gone...the dealer nicked it! Argh!
