I read your writeup on installing a second battery at the Vanagon.com website. It is so clear it makes me almost think I could do it!

However, the New York Timešs Book of Home repair once had me convinced I could unclog a sink, but forgot to tell me to put a bucket under it to catch the water when I unscrewed the drain pipe ‹so I know better. I am checking with a local VW specialist to see if he will do it for me, and plan to mention your writeup to him.

If I can find a local RV shop in the Boston area that will install the Propex, I will try to do the same with your forthcoming description, if you donšt mind.

It is good to know the Propex has worked well for you. I have enjoyed my Westy so much I want to keep using it year round and the Propex sounds like one of the best choices for keeping it warm safely.
