Sounds like it could be a Transporter. There are quite a few here. They are often modified into passenger vehicles, campers, etc. If you ever see a camper with dual rear doors this explains it. The 1998 Transporter sold in Canada offers a 2.4 litre, 5 cyl. diesel (77 hp / 117ft-lbs torque). My neighbour has one that was modified in to a Westy/Eurobago clone at several thousand dollars less. It has all the Eurobago features including (sadly) a Norcold (Nevercold) fridge :-(
