Check the 14-pin connector on the instrument cluster printed circuit sheet.
If the connector has been on-and-off several times, someone may have not
been careful in putting it back on last time.


The printed circuit sheet's foil is sometimes worn off or bent up to the
point where no contact is made. Damp weather may cause corrosion at this
spot, too. Location number 1 (right side, if you are sitting in the
driver's seat) on this connector is for instrument lights.
