Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

The Judges apoligize for the electronic gremlins who separated the Treasure Hunt Items from the Official Rules, but believe that they are related to the dreaded Vanagon List Wipe-Out Bugs. (These Bugs have a long and illustrious history of over 50 years, and mutated to the Super Bugs aroound 1971.)

PHASE I CONTEST TREASURE HUNT ITEMS

The following items are to be installed into a 1984 Vanagon.

A. Instrument panel gauge cluster, including tachometer. B. Weekender-style folding table, and side panels for driver's and passenger's sides. C. Engine compartment foam cushion for use with rear folding seat/bed. D. Set of (4) alloy wheels, which may be official Carat version, or suitable substitute.

The following items are to be installed into a 1987 Wolfsburg.

E. Set of (2) rear facing, fold-up, jump seats, including seat belts and mounting brackets. F. Set of "ground effects" outside molding panels, 3 piece passenger's side, and 1 piece driver's side.

JUDGE'S NOTES:

Equal points will be granted for one seat of Item E. Reduced points will be granted if all mounting hardware is not included for
