I just experienced exactly the same thing with our ('85) rebuilt engine with about 115k on it. Hopefully it will be looked at today but I would like very much to hear opinions, especially some that aren't the too expensive kind but I do think the "stick a fork in it - it's done" theory is most likely correct. Have to get fixed in time for Spring trip and Limbo events. Has anyone figured out how to get an engine in a Christmas stocking???
