It would be quite unlikely that the idle adjust screw would be the culpret. More likely the Idle Stabilizer Control Valve - a cylindrical shaped thing with both hosed and wires attached to it, which sits roughly at the top canter of the engine. Or (if that's not the problem)... the Idle Stabilizer Control Module - a black cube shaped (like a relay) electronic device which can be accessed by removing the right taillight.
