Please pardon my slight exageration, but... everybody has had it. I replaced the expansion tanks on both my 87 and 88 a few years ago due to cracks, and now have a spare available for when one of the replacements crack. I think about 80,000 to 120,000 milrs is typical life mfot these tanks.
