Well from my perspective, a newsgroup format would make it impossible for me to participate because I don't have access to a news server. Plus, we don't get all of that junk mail that the newsgroups are plagued with.

I've been on the list off and on for several years and have never seen this topic discussed and that is: Wouldn't this list work much better as a newsgroup? Is there a reason why this hasn't been approached and if it has, what were the results of that venture?
