Subject: Transmission Ques[via LSMTP - see www.lsoft.com]

My faithful 79 westie has begun to grind when I go from first to second gear, I can feel the grind through the stick shift, sigh. Anyone have any suggestions as to any sort of extra lubricant to put in the transmission to stop/reduce this? I'd kind of like to get around a transmission rebuilt for a while...

(looks like the list has been down for a while--good to have you all back!)

Erik
