Your coupling appears to be able to pass a minimal amount of power, enough to make an unloaded wheel spin, but not nearly enough to transmit the engine's power to the ground. Similar to being able to hold the top end of an unloaded rope, but when a significant load is added to the rope it will slip though your hands.

That said, I'm hoping your VC is not dead.
