Dear list members, [due to my bad timeing in sending this similar letter the day before Thanks Giveing I recieved only one response, so I will try again] My 87 Syncro w\108,000miles will be reluctently takeing residence in my driveway until July while I am away, and some advice on how to prep it would be greatly appreciated!! I am sure this frame of questioning has come around the list more than once, but I can not find any info in the archives. I have someone who is willing to start it up every week or 2 and drive it around a little every once in a while, The oil has been changed and I added some fuel stabilizer to the topped off tank. Someone told me to spray WD40 on exposed engine parts, exaust...??? -and- I am going to give her a fresh coat of wax. I love my syncro very much and would like to help keep her in the best condition possible while I am away. Again any and all advice/comments would be greatly appreciated! Chris 1987 Syncro GL |
