Date: Fri, 05 Dec 1997 11:34:36 -0600 Reply-To: kbnfvr@airmail.net Hello, my son stored his '83 Vanagon (diesel) at our home while on a month long vacation. He has returned and can't get it to start and he must return to his job in just a few days. We replaced the fuel filter and charged the battery. It has been suggested that the motor has lost it's "prime". If this is the problem, how do we "prime" the motor. Please reply in simple lanquage, I'm not very good with mechanical things. Thanks for help! Warren in Texas ------- end ------- |
