Does the alarm sense anything else besides CO? I have a JC Whitney CO/Gas detector and it is way too sensitive. It will go off at non-lethal levels of CO, like sitting at a traffic light or smoking a cigar. It also goes off after filling the gas tank. You may not be getting false alarms. What I did was put one of those home ones in there to test it and since it does not go off on non-lethal levels it has never gone off so I have decided to go this rought until I find a better one. I purchased it from Camping World. I've had several false alarms with the unit and I no longer trust it. Is anyone else in the Vanagon community using this alarm? If so, I'd appreciate some feedback as to your experience with this product. Does the EV-Winnebago come with a CO alarm? If so, who is the manufacturer? Thanks, Mark McCulley |
