I have been having a problem with my Vanagon and I didn't want to bother the list with it until I did all the normal things to try and correct the situation. I have just changed my sparkplugs, wires, cap, and rotor. The van was running great. I took a trip to Boston. On the way up it ran great. Drove through a lot of ice and snow. Got up there and the next day it started to misfire. It did it the whole trip home. Here is what it does. When you start it up it runs great for about five minutes. Then when it starts to warm up it starts missing. I think it is somehow fuel related. Maybe a bad temp sensor. I changed the oxygen sensor but that didn't help. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it? Thanks ahead of time for all the advice. Ken Wilford John 3:16 |
