There is/was a small stream of propane leaking from a small square hole on the propane pressure regulator on our 82 westy the last time I had the propane tank filled. This being the first time we have had the tank filled since we bought the van and not knowing whether this was simply overfill or a problem, we bled the tank in the name of safety. Looking through the archives it appears as if this is an indication of a faulty pressure regulator. The archives from 94-95 discuss a problem getting a replacement however there was some recent discussion concerning this problem for which I could not find a conclusion. Any and all advice about the best way to solve this problem is greatly appreciated. Thanks folks, David Higginbotham Raleigh, NC 82 Westy |
