Hey all, Tell me, does the Vanagon have an adjustment for the vent wing? Mine is an '81 if that matters. The problem is that mine turns on its axis too freely. On the road, if it is open fully, it will close itself due to the wind pressure on it while driving. I know the older Type 2 had an adjustment where you could tighten a screw down on the axis, allowing it to stay open on the road. Does the Vanagon have a similar adjustment? Haynes doesn't mention it so I thought I'd ask before I pull off my door panels. Thanks, Sean -- |
