I had this same problem on my '82 Westy.  I was able to obtain a replacement from a local RV accessory place.  The replacement that I fornd does not match up exactly.  I had to do a little modification to the copper line and "adjust" the debris guard that is on the bottom.  It looks ok and works great.  I replaced mine about 3 years ago and the cost, if I remember right, was around $70.00 or so.

There is/was a small stream of propane leaking from a small square hole on
the propane pressure regulator on our 82 westy the last time I had the
propane tank filled. This being the first time we have had the tank filled
since we bought the van and not knowing whether this was simply overfill or
a problem, we bled the tank in the name of safety. Looking through the
archives it appears as if this is an indication of a faulty pressure
regulator. The archives from 94-95 discuss a problem getting a replacement
however there was some recent discussion concerning this problem for which
I could not find a conclusion. Any and all advice about the best way to
solve this problem is greatly appreciated.
