Once the alarm went off while a friend was sleeping in the van with the Propex heater turned on. That scared me so I borrowed one of the NightHawk units with the readout to verify that the heater didn't have a leak in the combustion chamber or something. The NightHawk unit never detected any CO, never read anything but 0 ppm. I think my detector is defective.
