Subject: Good mechanic in Eastern NC

For anyone in Eastern NC, I think I have found a good mechanic for my Vanagon. I previously figured I was the best VW mech around (and I ain't very good).

Anyway, a guy named Jeff works at (owns?) 70 East Foreign Auto Service in New Bern. In talking to him about a mysterious ignition problem, he really impressed me that he had a clue about what I was quoting out of the Bentley. He made the most of my used parts to solve my problem and gave me advice on what parts I might put in myself (thanks Bus Boys).

The kicker from me is that he owns an '85 Westy that appears to be in great shape.

It's good to have a back up when I can't figure it out. Bill Kenneke <kenneke@clis.com> '85 Wolfsburg "The Cool Camper"
