People - I was talking about reliability here - not performance... there is NO DOUBT that the Automatics hold up better, and last longer than the Manual transmissions... IF I WANT A LOW 0-60 TIME, I WILL BUY A FORMULA ONE RACER... Vanagons are big metal un-aerodynamic lousy coefficient wind drag boxes on wheels.... not race cars...

but then again, how much krap/camping gear, etc. can you fit into a Formula One Racer??? ;<)
