Hi all,

Mr. Cronin's posting reminds me of a Hot VWs story about the Puebla, Mexico-produced Beetles. One of the pictures was of a Wasserboxer breadloaf driven off the assembly line.

Does anybody know anything about these H2O loafs from either Mexico or Brazil? Do they have the same Digifant-equipped 2.1 boxers like we have, or do they have dual carbs like the T4-equipped loafs from 72-74? Can these be registered in the U.S. as '79s? Last but not least; are they prohibitively expensive?
