Vanagoons: I put off fixing the antenna on our 85 because I thought it was going to be a nightmare feeding it up under the dashboard. The job only took me 30 minutes! The secret is to remove the headlight and feed it through the access hole there. The "bug" antenna I was sold works OK but it is NOT fully retractable like the old one.
