Hmmm, well if it ain't Friday yet then...errr, ahem, I'd say someone
stole your front diff Mikey! =:0 'Call da cops! I'se been robbed'

And if it's gone, how do you know you were doing 65mph since that's
where the speedo drive is?

There is NO WAY that it could have come loose, a total of 19 bolts must
be removed, some 17mm suckers, some crimped 13mm, and 12 of the dreaded
CV bolts, not to mention the speedo cable and vent line. The unit has to
be lifted, tilted and dragged forward to come out after that, it weighs
70lbs and I'm sure you would've heard and felt it depart. So if it's
gone round up the usual suspects, first one should be the mechanic who
did the 125K check up.
