Fairbanks is basking in its second heatwave of the winter! It was -18 F when I left for work yesterday morning, and when I wallked out of the building at 5 p.m. it was in the mid 20s. This morning it's 37 F! I can drive my Van again! With its new oil cooler seal!

So, thanks to everyone who has ever left their car idling, used aerosol hairspray, burned a tire, discharged an air conditioner, or invested in styrofoam.

Hooray for global warming! Hooray for El Nino!
