I was told by a vw mechanic it can take bout 7-10hrs for someone who has never done it and does a good job. You have to crack the dashboard open and have to be real careful not to break the plastic. The resealer stuff i've heard is expensive to buy and hard to find, but im sure you can get it from your vw dealer. Have fun with it and post to all of us what it was like and what you ran into on the way.
