The S&S system installed pretty easily on my project van with a couple of notable problems:

Change your thermostat before you put the S&S system on, as you'll have to remove the #4 pipe to get at it again. Luckily, the #4 pipe is the shortest one, but I fully expect its slip fitting to rust fully shut about one second before my thermostat bites it.

I'm not 100% sure on how to secure the muffler. There is a tab on the muffler, that is *real* close to a similar tab on the #2 pipe, but not close enough to slip a bolt through. I'm not sure if this is a because the cat that I used was too long or didn't have parallel flanges (it didn't). Does anyone else's fit better? The top tab on the muffler is close enough to where the original bracket goes that I'll be able to make something fit.

Otherwise I'm pretty impressed with the system. It still went together much better than the Dansk pipes I have on my 84. The only other problem was the noxious smoke that came from the paint burning off of the pipes at the exhaust ports, but I probably should have expected that.
