Subject: Value of non running 79 Westy and 82 Diesel westy

What would be the $ value of a non running 79 Westy and an 82 Diesel westy. Interiors are very good, apparently everything works. Diesel has minor body damage at chest level on tailgate frame. The diesel has supposedly burnt a valve.

The real question, I suppose is, how much can you pay for a Diesel Westy body and still be able to do a V6/subaru/TDi conversion that makes some economic sense. Thank you ...........JoE
