I think that a couple of weeks ago Helmut mentioned in one of his posts that there was a locking differential available as an option for two wheel drive vanagons...at least in Germany. If that is the case wouldn't it follow that somewhere over in Germany there is a source of parts to do a retro fit for us poor non syncro's? Do you suppose this would work on the differential of an automatic?
