Hi,

Like it says, for an '85/1.9l.And I need it cheap! A useable one please, with all its teeth, no cracks etc. I need an extra one to play with in pursuit of a homebrewed Subaru conversion. Going to repower the crewcab first, as a pilot project, then the Syncro.

Conversion commotion? hey it's a wasser boxer isn't it? ;) IF and I mean IF it needs repairs, then since the engine is bone stock with all FI/ignition/PS/alt. components still in place I'll just drive to the Subaru dealers for help. SInce they are supposed to run trouble free for 300K kms before overhaul, I figure this is a once in a lifetime job. Good enough incentive for me, since the odds of finding a low mileage TDI engimne are zero or less. bye, Tim
