Subject: VW VR6 swap, official supplier
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hello all,

I got some news from a fellow near Giessen, Germany:

There is a garage near Hameln, Germany, called 'tuning products'. They offer the Vanagon engine swap to VW VR6 for a price of DM 15,000.- for the 140 PS engine and additionally DM 6,000.- for the 174 PS engine. The additional price includes the four disc brake system, which is required in Germany for Vanagons with more than 140 PS. The brake system is originally delivered by Oettinger for a price of DM 3,600.-
