Subject: EV Poptop Struts Help
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

I have a bike rack on my poptop mounted on the back half of the poptop. If I have a bike on top, the poptop will not stay up. With nothing on the roof, If I pull the top down about a quarter of the way, it will fall the rest of the way by its self. I complained to Winnebago and they replaced

the struts but it made no difference on how well the top stays up.

My question, Is this normal? Its seems I've heard people with the EV's who need their entire body weight to bring the top down and close it. I think I recall people mentioning that they were able to have a couple of kayaks on top and still able to pop the top.

Any input before I go back to VW would be welcomed.
