The struts on my 95 EV-Winnebago are fairly anemic. They support the top OK, but there is no strength to spare. I suspect that a stray leaf or pine cone might bring down the top.

This is especially noticeable when lowering the top and furling the tent. Supporting the top on my head has increased my collar size by a couple of sizes.

Can't imagine installing a rack on the top.
