Subject: amber verse cleard relays

Does anyone know if there are supposed to be any real advantages to using amber colored foglights verse clear ones? I have decided to add a set of foglights to my syncro for snow and rain (and at the same time clean up the fuse box connections and grounds, run an additional 8 guage wire from the alternator up front to the battery and possibly the fuse box, which seems to have improve a few people's light output).

Also, when adding relays for the headlights (and fogs), should these go in the car or can they be mounted outside (or does it depend on the relay usually?).

dave
