To all concerned,
This loaner thing sounds great. Does the Bus Depot loan non-engine VW
tools also? My steering wheel has been on and off several times to
deal with the ignition switch, harnesses, etc. and it sure would have
been nice to use the puller like Bentley's and Hayne's suggests
instead of knuckle-busting. I'm sure others have this concern; that's
why this message is posted to the list.
As an aside, what is this new VW wiring harness stuff that is supposed
to enhance the contact connections? How is it used, and how well does
it work? Where can I get it (don't say "the dealer"), and for how much?
