what i did for my 88 fog lights was to look on the BACKside of the fuse box ... there are several not-used spade lugs. by testing with a meter, i found a couple kinda in the middle that were hot when the parking light switch was on (which is what i wanted) i ran a biggish wire off that lug to the fog light relays.

i wired my relays to be "triggered" by the parking lights (just tapped into the power wire to the right front parking light. watch out, cause one of those wires is the turn signal wire). that way, i can swith OFF my headlights (leaving the parking/running lights ON) and use only my fog lights for forward illumination ... works MUCH better in snow and heavy rain (cause the snow/rain can reflect the regular headlights back into your eyes). yes, it IS illegal in some (most?) states, so it might not be a good idea to do it on major highways. :) but it works for me ... and a lot better than having the headlights on, too.

and i HIGHLY recommend getting another set of fog lights, and putting ONE of them on the rear bumper (with a switch up on the dash) to use as a "backup" light. at night, it is SOOOOO much better ... you can actually SEE where you are going. if you are camping in the woods, this is really really a good thing to do.

and what do you do with that left-over single foglight?? save it for a "spare" or sell it to some other camper/bus driver. :)

good luck. joel
