all right, this is my last attempt at this group purchase effort for the man-a-fre tubular steel safari rack that will mount right to the rain gutters on the vanagon. dimensions are 51" x 95" x 6" deep. the mounts are 7.5" high and the rack is black powder coated. it looks just like the full roof rack on a land rover defender 110 or 90. price is the drawback ( isn't it usually? ) about $550 delivered to ny. price for the left coast is probably cheaper. this is not a bolt together, rust in 6 mos affair. the perfect thing for whatever epic journey that you might have in mind. i am starting to sound like j. petermen catalog......if there is any more interest, let me know and i will fax you a picture of it.
